Following on from 2 wins yesterday the final game in the Group took place this morning against the hosts Davitts Galway.

Another cracker of a game with a strong display Evie Twomey, Caoimhe Galvin and Katlyn Sheehan. It was a goal by Cliona Lynch that give Sars the advantage eventually winning by 2-3 to 0-2.

So Sars now qualified for the Division 1 Quarter Finals which were held in the late afternoon against St Brigid’s from Blanchardstown + Castleknock Dublin which was held in Castlegar GAA club.

Only a single point divided the teams at half time Sars 0-2 with St Brigid’s 0-1. Pointed free from Cliona Lynch and point from play from Ella O'Brien.
In the 2nd half a goal from a Cliona Lynch from a free was cancelled soon after by St Brigids who also added a point having made a rally, 2 points followed from Katlyn Sheehan & Cliona Lynch but it was only a goal by Ella O'Brien in the 28th minute that gave enough daylight to see Sars into the Semi-Final. Yet another great performance by the team with great defence work from Isabelle Kelly and Sinead Hurley and Evie Twomey again brilliant in the middle.
Full time score
Sars 2-4 St Brigid's 1-2

So, the girls have made it yet again to the final day where a Semi-Final awaits at 12:15 against Carnmore Galway at the Connacht Centre of Excellence near Knock in Co. Mayo.
